It’s been a busy few months for Mai, in addition to the constant round of club games she was also selected for the GB Under 18s team, playing a series of friendlies against Spain in November ahead of the forthcoming World Championships in Latvia in January 2025. She has done an incredible job of establishing herself as an integral part of the national team with eyes on the adult squad in the future. Highlighted by Ice Hockey UK as a ‘role model’ and a ‘fantastic ambassador’ for the sport we remain incredibly proud to play a small part in helping Mai on her journey.
We look back – as I’m sure Mai and her family do – on a phenomenally successful 2024 and wish her every success in January – we will be following with interest.
