[ad_1] See below for the latest report from Finn Morris, the young sailor The Dylan Howells Foundation is supporting.

“This weekend I went to Dabchicks Sailing Club on Mersea Island for the East Coast Optimist championships, it was a really exciting and fun event!

I finished 8th overall and was first junior (under 13) in the main fleet. The event was won by Will Pank, the UK number 1, who finished in the top 20 at the World Championships last year – My best moment of the weekend was when I sailed past Will in one of the races!

It was lovely to sail at a familiar club where my Mum grew up and where my Grandparents live. The photo is of me receiving my prize.

This coming weekend I’m off to Calshot Activities Centre on the Solent for two days of coaching as part of the National Summer Squad. Later in the Summer I’m going to the French, Irish and British Nationals in Bordeaux, Kinsale and Pwllheli. The wonderful support from the Dylan Howells Foundation is making all of this possible!”

Well done Finn from everyone at The Dylan Howells Foundation and all it’s amazing supporters.
