Thank you to the Dylan Howells Foundation for their kind support to enable the club to purchase specialised wheelchair Rugby League shirts. The team is going from strength to strength with the season in 2025 predicted to be bigger and better. We believe the clubs wheelchair Rugby League team is the most inclusive group in the area. Men, women, all genders, teenagers to over 60s, able bodied and disabled play in the same team. We would welcome a group of 5 players or more from the Foundation to come and have a go… when the season starts up in 2025.
The Wheelchair game is simply ‘great fun’. The club is also grateful for the donation from the Foundation, which also contributed to purchasing a new playing kit for the clubs first ever Women’s Development team. The latter was inspired by players that started their Rugby League journey in the junior girls section that the Foundation had previously supported a few years ago. As a gesture of appreciation, the club has also added the Foundations logo to a new Mens team kit.
