A great update from Lilian Musgrave, our DHF-supported figure skater. After recently finishing 3rd in British Qualifiers, Lilian unfortunately had her skates stolen but still managed to secure an 8th place finish for Team GB in competition at the Triglav Trophy event wearing ill-fitting borrowed skates! Our sponsorship was quickly put to good use, as Lili explains herself in a lovely message:
“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the sponsorship from the Dylan Howells Foundation. I really appreciate your support and everything you’ve done for me over the years it genuinely means a lot.
Unfortunately, my boots went missing from our changing room recently, which meant I had to borrow a friend’s pair for training. Receiving this sponsorship now couldn’t have come at a better time, as it means I can quickly replace them and get back to feeling fully prepared on the ice again.
My grandad may have already mentioned it, but I’ve managed to reach the required score again for the GB squad this season, and I’m really excited about attending the screening in July with the aim of securing a Junior Grand Prix place for next season.
