Joseph has just been selected to represent England at the Commonwealth Karate Championships in September for Para! We’re still reeling from the shock tbh, but so humbled & thankful for all the amazing support that has made it possible – DHF of course being a big part of this amazing journey. – Fiona Clifton (Joseph’s mum)
Brilliant and well done Joseph! All your hard work is paying off. We all look forward to the Commonwealth event in September. – from all at the DHF
We are just back from a hectic weekend in Sheffield at The English Karate Federation National Championships. Joseph has been training so hard & we’re delighted to report that he won a silver in the Para Intellectual Impairment category.
On Sunday (10th July) we are again away for training, this time in the Midlands, but crucially the English Karate Federation are selecting athletes who will be representing England. We are hoping Joseph will be selected, but either way we are delighted with his progress.
Huge thanks once again to the DHF for all the support. With so many expenses linked to training, competing & travel, it is greatly appreciated.
