Mai has been doing incredibly well for all of her teams and is one of the top 2 defensemen in the WNIHL1 league nationally as well as scoring some great goals (which is not the normal expectation for a defenseman)! To highlight three of her recent games for the Firebees…
7.3.26 Firebees v Streatham Storm – Mai scored her first hat trick and 2 assists, coming away with 5 points. This helped secure a 12-1 WIN at home. She was awarded Player Of the Game.
28.3.26 Firebees v Chelmsford Cobras – Mai came away with an assist and she scored the game winning goal, ending the game 6-5.
11.4.26 Firebees v Streatham Storm – Mai was Assistant Captain for this game. She scored 4 goals and an assist coming away with 5 points. This helped the team secure an 11-3 WIN at home!
In addition to this, Mai is also still really enjoying coaching the U10s and U12s at Guildford. All of this is in addition to her work at college with exams forthcoming and then training in Sweden in the summer!
There is plenty going on for Mai right now and we at the Foundation are all excited for what comes next.
